Gravenhrst Rotary Honours local RYLA students

RYLA   (Rotary Youth Leadership Awards) encourages leadership in youth by selecting students to attend an all-expense paid camp where they are inspired by a diverse group of exceptional speakers , make lifelong friends and discuss ethical and social issues of today.

Our Gravenhurst Rotary Club has been excited by the calibre of students selected over the years to represent not only our club, their school but our town at this weekend event.  This  year has been no exception with an excellent group of students just returned.  Jasmine, Tiffany and Chris “learned so much about themselves” ;  “ ate some amazing food “ ; “ made some great new friends” and returned home and to their school with a much better awareness of just what makes a great leader.

We are proud to have been represented by these three students; thank you for being yourselves and doing us all proud.
